What We Do
At our core, INNOWAFERS manufactures foundational semiconductor building blocks. We transform electronic-grade raw silicon into flawless, device-ready 150 mm (6-inch) monocrystalline silicon wafers. Our portfolio includes Prime, Test, and Monitor grade substrates available in varied specifications—tailored carefully to precise crystallographic orientations (e.g., <100>, <111>), dopant profiles (N-type or P-type), and customized resistivity ranges. Our products serve as the critical canvases for lithography, etching, and diffusion processes performed by top-tier semiconductor design houses, foundries, and research institutions worldwide.

Founded and led by Abdulla Hayat Quddusi, Chief Executive Officer, INNOWAFERS is driven by a mission to establish a sovereign, self-reliant semiconductor substrate foundation for India. Under his leadership, the company focuses on strategic expansion, localized supply security, and scaling high-precision manufacturing capabilities to serve global microelectronics markets.
Guiding our technical direction is Chief Technology Officer P. Balasubramanian, a distinguished industry veteran with over 30 years of hands-on experience in high-purity silicon wafer manufacturing. His deep expertise in crystallographic metrology, advanced wafer shaping, and sub-nanometer surface polishing ensures that every substrate delivered by INNOWAFERS meets strict global semiconductor standards. Together with our skilled engineering and cleanroom personnel, our leadership is committed to driving product excellence, reliability, and technical innovation.
When We Do It
INNOWAFERS is currently in its active facility setup and equipment installation phase, laying the groundwork for high-precision, continuous semiconductor manufacturing. We are actively executing pilot-line validations and opening strategic sample evaluation lots for key engineering partners. Full-scale commercial volume production is targeted to launch in Q1 2027, establishing a reliable, high-purity silicon substrate pipeline to support domestic and international semiconductor demand.
